John Christly - Founder and Lead Instructor
John Christly is the Founder and CEO of OMC Systems LLC, and he also serves as the Lead Instructor at the OMC Academy. He has also taught over 2,000 students as an Instructor at Udemy.

He brings over three decades of frontline cybersecurity leadership. As a multi-time CISO and former CIO and CTO in both public and private sectors, John bridges the gap between technical defense and executive strategy.

He works with organizations as a trusted advisor to build resilient, defensible, and business-aligned programs that support growth, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and withstand increasing regulatory and operational scrutiny. His expertise spans IT and cybersecurity strategy, enterprise risk management, governance, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and AI governance.

Throughout his career, he has led and advised initiatives involving NIST CSF 2.0, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2, HIPAA, CJIS, PCI DSS, GDPR, and maritime cybersecurity regulations. His professional credentials include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), CMMC CCP/CCA/LCCA/CCI, ISO 27001/27701/42001 Lead Auditor, and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He is also a Mastermind Fellow of Management Systems Auditing.

Felix Hernandez serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of OMC Systems LLC, where he leads technology strategy, software innovation, product development, and emerging technology initiatives. In addition to his executive leadership responsibilities, Felix is an instructor with the OMC Academy, developing practical, hands on training that helps technology professionals build modern software development, Agile, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills.
